Surveying and consultancy activities have been performed for more than thirty years from the office based in Genoa drydocks area.

Martinoli is the best known name between Underwriters’ and P&I Surveyors, both because of its long history, respected skills and large resources.

Hull and machinery damage surveys for Italian, British, Japanese, French, German and Scandinavian Underwriters
Surveys for major P&I Clubs and The Salvage Association
Condition surveys for ships and yachts purchasers and sellers
On/Off-Hire surveys
Pre-loading and loading surveys, also for special and heavy transport

In total, the Company has been appointed by international Underwriters to an average of 120 damage surveys per calendar year and an average of 10 arbitration per year.
