MaIN SHIP MANAGEMENT aCHIEVEments

1991-1998: Technical Managers for Costa Crociere.

2001: 1st October, appointed of the full technical management of the Renaissance Cruises Fleet including crewing, bunkering and port operations on behalf of the Mortgagee in Possession, i.e. Credit Agricole Indosuez, Hamburgische Landes Bank, Credit Commerciale de France and after the judiciary sale on behalf of Cruiseinvest, Grand Seaways and Compagnie Maritime Kleber (Alstom group). The fleet includes 8 passenger vessels 32,000 GRT built between 1998 and 2001 at Chantiers de l’Atlantique and 2 vessels 4,200 GRT built in 1991 and 1992.

2002: March, appointed as technical Managers for Petroships SA, Owners of m/v Ianuk 16.000 t dwt, m/v Tankeiro 10.000 t dwt, m/v Kipper 10.000 t dwt and m/v Karina 7.000 t dwt , product tankers operating in Med, West Africa and North Sea. In 2003 the m/v Kashmir, 50.000 t dwt was added to the fleet after extensive repairs.

2002: May, appointed as technical Managers for Monte Carlo Shipping, Owners of 3 geared 25.000 t dwt bulk carriers m/v Magic Swan, Black Swan and Gray Laker operating worldwide and Great Lakes.

2002: November, appointed as technical Managers for Enermar Srl of Genova for 5 small passenger ferries operating in Sardinia between Palau and the La Maddalena island and the passenger ferry Palau to be operated between Genoa and Sardinia in the summer of 2003-2004.

2002-2003: Support for various charter negotiations on behalf of the Owners, Cruiseinvest, for the vessels ex Renaissance, R One and R Two, to be delivered on a 5 years time charter Deck and Engine basis in April/June 2003 to Oceania Cruises of Miami.

2003: January, appointed as technical Managers for Tarros SpA for No 2 geared 370 TEU container vessels Vento di Scirocco and Vento di Maestrale operating as feeders from Tarros terminal in La Spezia.

2003-2004: Survey for Spanish Cruise Line (now Iberojet Cruceros) as perspective Buyers/Charteres of various vessels: m/v Zenith, m/v Nordic Empress, m/v Olympia Voyager, m/v Ocean Countess and m/v Rhapsody. Pre-purchase surveys and consultants for the purchase negotiation of m/v SuperStar Capricorn . After the purchase and delivery of February 2004 appointed as technical managers and in charge for the 3 month refurbishment and conversion into m/v Grand Latino.

2004: Appointed in Jan 2004 as technical mangers by Credit Agricol Indosuez and Chantier de l’Atlantique on behalf of the Owners for the repossession of the Festival Cruise Line ships m/v Mistral in Marseilles, m/v European Stars in Barcelona and  m/v European Vision in Barbados.

2005: Appointed Technical Managers for ro-pax ferry m/v Leviathan to be operated in Siciliy islands, including assistance to purchasing, removal, major refurbishment works, change of flag and Class register.
